Craig lives up to his part-timer tag

Craig Killick, partner and Managing Director of The Escape, is to move to a part-time consultative role as of January 2010 as he looks to explore other business opportunities. As part of this move, Robert Jones will move across to the Managing Director role and continue The Escape’s ambitions of continued growth as a leading design and web agency.

Craig Killick said, “It’s an interesting time for The Escape and for me personally and the timing is perfect. I have been working with Rob for 12 years and towards this personal goal for the past two years, so the internal structure of the business has been adapted over time to make it seamless. Most people won’t even realise the difference.”

Robert Jones and Craig Killick established The Escape in 1997 from Craig’s home and the company has become one of the largest local design and web agencies in Basingstoke employing 15 people. With clients in the local area and a growing list of internationally based companies using The Escape, Robert is keen to consolidate the current sales offering, whilst aggressively growing sales. He commented:

“It will seem strange with Craig not being around as much, but he’s always on the end of the phone or email and we have worked hard to ensure that this change will not impact any client work or the smooth running of the business.”

“Timing is everything in life and with our expansion into the Far East, things are poised to get busier for The Escape. We relish that challenge and have a great team of people in place to deliver, so I am excited about what we will achieve over the coming twelve months.
